  • What I'm Reading: Outrageous, Contagious Joy by Ed Young

I found this great new product- think I'm going to give it a try if I decide to color (back to thinking about keeping the silver- back and forth, back and forth....): http://www.robertcraig.com/php/index.php

I'm going to at least try the CLEAR to add shine and softness!!

We had a GREAT trip to Branson!  Branson is not really our style- but we stayed in a gorgeous hotel and didn't have to drive after we got there- the conference was in the hotel we stayed in.  We went to a showboat dinner cruise, and that turned out to be a BLAST!!  They had a comedian, Todd Oliver, who made me laugh so hard my jaws hurt and I was bawling!!

I am also REALLY excited about our business! (that's what the conference was all about)  We have a home-based wholesale travel business, and it is AWESOME.  I'll be sharing more about MY part in our business soon- I have some things in the works that I can't wait to get started with!

Okay- off to my nail appointment!  Ciao!!

I'm very excited about your business, too. I would love to be able to go on our honeymoon and look forward to working with you and your husband on how to make it happen. Perhaps you could help us find a trip that wouldn't break the bank but still be enjoyable.

Blessings to you!

Sounds like a fun and exciting business!

The clear hair stuff does look interesting, though a couple of the ingredients kinda scare me haha. Still a far better looking ingredients list than many similar products though!

The books I ordered included a couple of Rachael Ray's cook books (she is supposedly my sister's boyfriend's cousin, but I don't really believe him...) her "2-4-6-8-" one and her newest one "yum-o". I figured any cookbook that has "cooking for two" recipes can't be bad (plus it's Rachael Ray, you know it's gonna be good!) and the newest one is supposed to be pretty figure friendly recipes incorporating lots of fruits and veggies. I thought if I actually have some recipes like that to try out it might help me start eating better and aid in my efforts to lose weight. (As I type I am wearing a pair of jeans that one month ago were entirely too tight to fit, and now they're comfy!)

And for my "just for fun reading" books I got Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella and The Wednesday Letters by Jason F. Wright. I know nothing about the authors but the little snippets of the books both looked very promising.

You will LOVE Sophie Kinsella- she's hysterical. You should read her Shopaholic series.
Congrats on the jeans fitting better! hooray!! We eat almost entirely fruits and veggies, and all my jeans are now too baggy. grrr!!! You definitely lose weight on that type of diet- my hubby is 6'1" and can't seem to get above 150. He's a string bean!! We also pretty much eat no sugar- "cancer diet". But anyway! not a real popular eating plan, as we find everytime we try to do anything socially. very frustrating- might be partly why we're such homebodies. People seem to bend over backwards for anyone doing anything like the Atkins diet (cheeseburgers galore! woohoo! just toss the bread!) but you say you only eat raw fruits and veggies and people look at you like you just sprouted bean sprouts from your head!!!! As if a salad was REALLY a hardship to prepare in order to have someone over for dinner... but I digress as I begin to rant and rave... :-P
